Generally the fishing is broken down into three categories, Inshore (usually within 20 miles), Offshore ( between 20 and 50 miles) and Canyon (between 60 and 100 miles). FISHING CHARTERS
Inshore the prime gamefish is the Bluefish, which pound for pound is one of the greatest fighting fish anywhere. Also inshore are Spanish Mackerel, Bonito, Skipjack, and Little Tunny. Bottom fishing include Flounder, Fluke, Taug, Sea-Bass and Weakfish.

Offshore between 20 and 50 miles out we find Giant Tuna, School Tuna, both Bluefin and Yellowfin. These are migrating fish and not always available in this area. (Consult Captain for details.) Also, Sharks of several species are found in these waters as well as in the Canyons.

Canyon (the edges of the Continental Shelf) The Ultimate in Sportfishing, we have large Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Swordfish, Sharks of many species, most of the Tunas of the world including Giant and School Bluefin, Bigeye, Yellowfin and Albacore. Dolphin (not Flipper), Wahoo and an occasional Sailfish round out the quarry. Sailing times vary depending upon fishing conditions. (Ask Captain for details.) From Barnegat Inlet we can easily reach any of these Canyons: Hudson, Toms, Spencer, Carteret, Lindenkohl, Wilmington and Baltimore Canyons on a one day or overnight trip.
